If you like bananas, ice-cream, and not having to cry after indulging - then you'll love this. Believe it or not ( but preferably believe), this delicious treat consists of one single ingredient: bananas.

This is definitely one of my favourite healthy treats. You can even change it up a bit by adding some healthy toppings like chopped nuts (walnuts are my favourite), chopped dates (limit to 2/3), and cocoa nibs (you can find these here).
Step-by-step guide to a perfect soft-serve banana ice-cream below.
You'll need:
> Bananas: 1-2 per person
> A food blender (A handheld one won't be strong enough)
> Greaseproof paper
Step 1: Slice banana thinly, and lay out on greaseproof paper. (If you don't have greaseproof paper, foil or an alternative will be fine.)
Step 2: Place the sheet of banana slices on a tray, and put inside the freezer. If the tray doesn't fit, put in small tubs. Just avoid too much overlapping, because if the banana-slices stick together, it's harder for the blender to process them, and I will not be held responsible for broken blenders.
Step3: Leave in the freezer for 3-4 hours.
Step4: Remove from the freezer, pop them into a blender, and whiz! Once the blender has made your banana slices into a nice soft-serve, you can remove and enjoy. Simple!
Note: If your blender is under pressure, you can add a small drop of plant-milk to wet the frozen bananas. If it's still struggling, then let the banana thaw out a bit. Try it then, and just pop the soft-serve into the freezer for 20-30 minutes until it hardens a bit. But don't let it go too hard. Enjoy!
